An Autism Spectrum Disorder is relatively common, and the chance is quite high that you will have one or more students in your class who have this diagnosis. How can you recognize possible difficulties in studying with ASD, and more importantly, how can you supervise these students in the best way?
This module will cover some theory on ASD, what it is and how it can manifest itself. We will go into several important theories that can help you understand the symptoms and in turn will help you when you are teaching/supervising students with ASD. All this is combined with practical tips on for example your communication and giving feedback.
This module is specifically targeted to teachers, with or without a tutor or mentor role. So it is not for people who are solely developing courses or giving lectures. Not sure which module suits your learning objectives best? Please send an email to email@example.com
