What is your role and what responsibilities come with that role? How do you set a good atmosphere and make sure you make a good first impression?
This first module is an introduction in your new role as a teacher. In two hours, we will discuss the different parts and responsibilities that come with that role, based on real-life situations. In the second half of the module, we will practice how to make a good first impression when you stand in front of your group.
Beginning teachers who do not have experience in teaching or standing in front of a group. This module is compulsory for TA’s (student-assistants). All modules are open for everyone who is teaching at the FNWI, so for example for teachers 3 and 4, tutors and teaching assistants (PhD’s and student assistants).
